THE COVES OF TORRE CINTOLA
The public beach “Torre Cintola”, which takes its name from the sixteenth century coastal watch tower that can be found here, is characterized by a number of inlets that are nestled in the high limestone rock, which is typical of the local landscape. These are small but highly captivating, artificially created sandy ravines, which were at one time used to extract blocks of ‘Tufa-a local soft rock’ which were then used for construction. Nearby there is both paid car parking and a large free car park.
THE CLIFFS OF CAPITOLO
The stretch of coast between Torre Cintola and Lido Azzurro is characterized by the presence of a tract of low cliffs in addition to beautiful beaches, an ideal refuge for those who love the tranquility of plunging into clear, deep waters, or even fishing. The cliff is formed from limestone on which one can observe the presence of fossilized remains of crustaceans and the phenomenon of sinkholes caused by wind erosion. Nearby you can take advantage of free and paid car parking and the area is connected to the city by public transport.
The cove is characterized by a sandy inlet, formed in the high limestone rock, typical of the natural local setting. Half is privately managed, while the remainder public. In the immediate vicinity there is free and paid car parking plus a wide range of services.

THE COVES OF CAPITOLO
The free coves or “calette” of Capitolo are identified by two small sandy inlets that open out from inside the limestone rock, very popular and well visible from the road. The area is served by public transport and in the immediate vicinity there is both free and paid car parking as well as chemical toilets.
PUBLIC BEACHES IN CAPITOLO
Much of Capitolo is characterized by long sandy beaches, a marvel for those who enjoy long stretches of coastline for walks or practicing water sports. Private beach resorts alternate between public beaches whose entrances are clearly signposted. In the area around the beaches you can take advantage of ample car parking of which almost all is paid parking. The whole resort is connected to the town via public transport.
The public beach of ‘Duna’ is a typical stretch of Monopolitan coastline, an extraordinary and enchanting stretch of open sea standing out from high dunes that run alongside a long sandy expanse. Above all it is an ideal area to practice surfing or other sports connected to the sea. Nearby there is paid car parking
